Kentucky The Party Mart prides itself on being a responsible retailer- using internal employee incentives, outside educational programs, and operating under the hard-line policy:
In addition to this uncompromising policy, The Party Mart offers clerks a $100 bonus every time they pass a police sting. Mr. Rogers feels that the policies are definitely hitting home, noting that on average his employees confiscate one false ID a week and proudly serve several ABC agents on a regular basis. In addition to these company practices, The Party Mart has sought to educate its customers by partnering with The Century Council to promote the 65% Campaign. This program is based on recent survey data stating that 65% of youth obtain the alcohol they drink from their family and friends. This program involves distributing materials that encourage parents to play a more active role in keeping alcohol out of the hands of teens. In addition to distributing the 65% Campaign materials, The Party Mart hosted an event to promote the program with The Century Council, the Chief of Police, and the Louisville Metro Police Department. Mr. Rogers was eager to promote awareness of the problem and found that many parents of younger children were shocked by the data.
